This is the “glamping” space, with safari-style accommodation that feels entirely down-to-earth and wonderfully eclectic.

The six Tented Suites have thatched roofs, low stone walls and canvas roll-up panels, with private viewing decks that seamlessly let the outdoors in. The family and group suites, meanwhile, feature private swimming pools and impressive deck areas with idyllic bushveld views, as well as private game viewing vehicles and guides.

Jaci’s Safari Lodge offers superb outdoor dining experiences at the lodge’s various boma and viewing deck areas. But perhaps the memory that will linger longest is the quiet stroll along the Marico River, to the soundtrack of birds chattering in the forest and the elephants splashing in the river.
