Terms & Conditions

Morukuru Family Madikwe

On confirmation of an itinerary we will require a 30% deposit on all ground services and all flights to be prepaid in full to secure, should the booking fall outside of 60 days prior to travel. Balance is due 60 days prior to travel.

Please note these payment terms are subject to the payment terms of individual service providers who may be stricter over high season or when booking special rates or offers.

Itineraries confirmed within 60 days of travel must be paid in full upon receipt of the invoice.

It is vital that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance with their packages, including medical cover. We do not offer comprehensive travel insurance cover.

Service providers have strict cancellation policies irrespective of reasons for cancellation, resulting in loss of deposits or even full invoice value.

For those living in the US we can recommend a very thorough lady in Colorado,US who helps some of our guests with their insurance. Pari Morse – info@1earthtravelprotection.com. She is hard of hearing and can only communicate over email. Please let her know we have referred you and she will assist.

For those outside the US try AIG Travel Guard: https://www.aig.com/worldwide and also speak to your credit card company about travel insurance as part of their services

All cancellations will be addressed on a case by case basis and service providers will be engaged in the cancellation process.

However deposits are paid to secure and may be forfeited to the service provider. Again travel insurance is absolutely essential for travel to Africa. Our standard cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancelled between 120 – 91 days before arrival = 25% of the cost of the booking.

Cancelled between 60 – 31 days before arrival = 50% of the cost of the booking.

Cancelled within 30 days before arrival = 100% of the cost of the booking.
