Thanks for such a wonderful stay. This is paradise. 43 Elephants came to greet us. Lions, black and white rhino, you name it, we saw it. We’ve had a wonderful time. We will be back.

Jaci’s chilli and garlic puddle
They say repetition is boring, but not when it comes to our chilli and garlic concoction, which is generally served before meal times here at Jaci’s.
Whether it comes as a dip for our well-known phaphathas (traditional doughy bread rolls cooked on an open fire before dinner), or with our homemade bread at lunch setting, or even added as a sauce to liven up a soup, it is sure to tantalise your tastebuds.
There are no quantities for this recipe but go ahead, be creative and do just as you please.
Take equal amounts of garlic as well as green or red chillies, and chop them up finely. Arrange this mix on a side plate, or in a mortar and pestle for decorative purposes.
Cut lemons into wedges, and squeeze the juices into the the chilli and garlic mix.
Add in some olive oil, and a bit of balsamic vinegar (if you wish) .
Add salt and pepper to taste and serve with fresh bread.
HINT: We’ve been told that, back in the big smoke of Jo'burg city, a French loaf has guaranteed results with this mix.
