This place is the coolest place ever and I wish I could live here forever and ever. I love Tree Lodge! Running up and down the bridges, you can see animals everywhere. Of course, the food is amazing and so are the drinks. Thanks for making this the best holiday ever!!! I love Jaci’s!

Daily scheduled, Private Charter flights & commercial flights
There are daily scheduled flights from Oliver Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg direct to Jaci's Lodges.
Private charters can also be arranged on request.
Currently Air Botswana flies daily to/from Cape Town/Gaborone - see their website for details and flight schedules.
Landing strip fees are payable per person for use of the airstrip - will be added to the invoice when booking.

Road transfers or self-drive - Gaborone & Gauteng
Jaci's is an easy four-hour drive from OR Tambo International Airport or only 2 hrs from Gaborone.
Allow us to arrange a private road transfer for you or you could simply take the self drive option.
If you will be arriving by car, the quickest (and recommended) route from Johannesburg is to drive via Sun City and Molatedi.
Please contact the lodge directly for more specific directions should you require them, and to alert us once you pass Sun City so that we can prepare for your arrival.
Please refuel at Zeerust/ Sun Village as there is no fuel available inside the reserve.
When driving from Gaborone there are two available routes:
Gaborone - Thlokweng: take the road from the city center to the Thlokweng border post, once customs and immigration fomalities have been completed continue on the road in the direction of Zeerust, approx 10 kms you will see the Abjagsterkop Gate entrance into Madikwe, from here follow the signs to Jaci's Lodges - approx a 2 hrs drive, with 45 - 50 minutes through the Reserve.
Gaborone - Sikwane: take the Francistown road, lookout for the road to Odie on the right, continue through Odie (this road starts as tar and becomes gravel) to a T-junction where you turn right. Once customs and immigration fomalities have been completed at Sikwane - continue on the road in the direction of Derdepoort, you will pass the Derdepoort General Dealer on the left continue to a 4 way stop - go straight to the Derdepoort Gate entrance to Madikwe, from here follow the signs to Jaci's Lodges - approx a 2.5 hrs drive, with 45 - 50 minutes through the Reserve.
Please remember that although the gates into the Madikwe Game Reserve close at 21h00, guests are not permitted to drive unaccompanied in the reserve after 18h00. Should you expect to arrive after 18h00, please make prior arrangements for a lodge escort, at a cost of R500 per escorted trip.
Please DO NOT use gps location systems (even google earth etc....) to get to Jaci's Lodges - you will be taken on routes/roads that no longer exisit - please print and use the PDF directions below:
